The first day I stepped into Grand Master Kwang Bai Kim's dojang, I knew instantly that it was unlike any martial arts school.  Surrounded by U.S. National Team members, champions and dedicated "old-school", highly disciplined and highly respectful athletes, I was welcomed to my new home.

Highly revered and feared, DoSan was infamous for producing WTF sparring champions.  Their technique is lethal and highly efficient.  

Kwan Jang Nim's teachings rivaled modern, mainstream methods.  In years past, his ethics earned him the loyalty and deep respect of his students.  I was no exception.  If ever I had a father in martial arts, it is Kwang Jang Nim Kwang Bai Kim.  

To this day, I hold onto his approaches to technique and his philosophies.  Kwan Jang Nim's intuitive, keen mind always knew when you were ready for the next challenge.
